Our typical recruitment process consists of the following stages:

  • Application Review: We review every application received. Our team screens resumes and cover letters against the role requirements.
  • Initial Interview: Shortlisted candidates are invited to a video or phone interview with our recruitment team to discuss experience, motivation, and fit.
  • Skills Assessment: Depending on the role, candidates may be asked to complete a practical task, case study, or technical assessment.
  • Team Interview: Final-round candidates meet with the hiring manager and relevant team members.
  • Offer: Successful candidates receive a written offer outlining role details, compensation, and start date.

We aim to communicate decisions to all applicants within a reasonable timeframe. If you have not heard from us within four weeks of applying, your application was not successful on this occasion.

4. Remote and Flexible Work

Many roles at Mak Digital Solutions are fully remote or hybrid. We welcome applications from candidates across Pakistan, the United States, the United Kingdom, and other regions, provided they can align with core team hours and deliver their responsibilities effectively.

5. Candidate Data Protection

We collect and process candidate data solely for recruitment purposes. This includes resumes, contact details, interview notes, and assessment results.

We retain candidate data for up to 12 months after the conclusion of a recruitment process, unless you request earlier deletion or we establish an employment relationship. Your data is stored securely and is only accessible to authorized personnel involved in hiring decisions.

6. Background Checks

For certain roles, Mak Digital Solutions may conduct background checks — including employment verification and reference checks — with the candidate’s explicit consent. These checks are carried out in compliance with applicable laws and only after an offer has been made.

7. Recruitment Agencies

We primarily recruit directly. We do not accept unsolicited CVs from recruitment agencies unless a formal agreement is in place. Any unsolicited submissions will be treated as direct applications and no fee will be payable.

8. Feedback and Appeals

We value candidate experience. If you have feedback about our recruitment process or believe you have been treated unfairly, please contact us. We take all concerns seriously and will investigate promptly.
